How to Make Lumpia China Pastry? Preparation of
Peel and chop the vegetables. The smaller the pieces, the delicious your rolls. Also, try to cut all parts equally to cook equally.
Heat the pan over medium heat and add the oil. When the oil is hot, fry for about 30 seconds until the garlic is brown.
However, be careful when frying because burned garlic can disrupt your fill and give a bitter taste.
Add the ground beef on the garlic. However, make sure that the meat does not draw too much oil. (There shouldn’t be too much fat in the pan)
After adding fresh oil, use the same pan again and add the remaining vegetables. When the vegetables soften a little, go to the next step.
Mix the meat and vegetables, then add salt, garlic powder, black pepper and spices with soy sauce.
Cook for another minute. After finishing, let the fill to cool.
Make a thick paste to close the lumpia windings by combining flour and water in a mixing bowl. Another way to close the lumps is to use egg whites.
Put a Lumpia winding on the counter with a corner to look at you, then add 2-3 tablespoons of filling. Roll firmly, then apply the paste or egg white to close the edges.
Repeat these steps with the rest of the wrapping.
Cooking process
Fill a pan with hot oil and heat up to about 350 degrees. Fry the lump in deep oil until golden brown.
You can also complete the cooking process in the fritöz.
Lumpia, when fried in deep oil, tends to absorb oil a little too much. Therefore, before serving the fried lump on the paper towel, let the excess oil flow.
