What does flexitarian mean? The term “flexitarian” is mainly used to identify people who consume animal foods such as meat or fish, although it mainly follows a herbal based diet.
Flexitarian diet is often considered a healthy, balanced and environmentally friendly diet.
Flexitaria consume vegetable -based foods such as herbal -induced proteins, vegetables, fruits, whole grains, legumes and healthy fats.
However, from time to time, they can consume animal foods such as meat or fish, especially at special events or social invitations.
