250 g brunette sugar
4 large size eggs
250 g
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of nut
1/2 teaspoon powder ginger
500 g mixed dry fruit (raisins, dried apricots, dried figs, dry cherries, etc.)
100 g almond flour
1 lemon peel grater
1 orange peel grater
2 tablespoons of orange juice
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1 Marzipan (about 500 g)
Preparation: Set the oven to 150 ° C. Lubricate the cake mold and put aside.
Beat the butter and brown sugar until it reaches the consistency of cream in a mixing bowl.
Add the eggs one by one and continue to beat.
Mix the flour, cinnamon, grated nuts, powdered ginger and baking powder in a separate bowl.
Add half of the mixture to the butter mixture and continue to beat.
Add the dried fruits, almond flour, lemon peel grated, grated orange peel and orange juice. Mix.
Add the remaining floury mixture and beat until all the ingredients are mixed thoroughly.
Pour half of the mixture into the mold.
Cool the marzipan mold and pour the remaining cake mixture on it.
Cook the cake for about 2 hours or check until the toothpick is clean.
After the cake has cooled, sprinkle with some marzipan on the top and bake at the grill setting until it slightly golden golden.
Serve by slicing. Enjoy your meal!
