Natural Cream Deodorant Making
When we sweat, the bacteria living in our skin breaks down the protein molecules in the sweat, causing body odor.
Reduces the odor using components (usually aluminum -based salts) to stop sweating, apocrine glands or sweat glands.
Less sweat means the breakdown of less protein molecule, and in terms of results, this approach works.
However, sweating supports detoxification and has some safety concerns about the use of aluminum in skin care products.
Deodorants do not prevent sweating, but use components that “remove the smell” by neutralizing or masking the resulting odor.
What’s in deodorant? Are you wondering what’s in traditional commercial deodorants? ITE Answer:
Aluminum – most deodorants contain aluminum forms that block sweat glands to stop sweating.
Aluminum is associated with negative developmental, reproductive, neurological and immune effects in humans, abnormal growth models in children and neuro developmental delays.
FTAATS – This chemical category helps other chemicals to adhere to our skin and/or more deeply penetrate the epidermis.
Weight gain, increasing risk of diabetes, fertility problems, developmental problems, low testosterone levels in men, women and children are more linked.
Parabens – Parabens used as preservatives can be absorbed by skin. They are considered as hormone disruptions linked to various side effects.
Some researchers argue that estrogenic properties of fthalates may play a role in breast cancer.
This chemical, which is used in everything from toys to toothpaste, can disrupt normal thyroid function, change hormones and make more.
Fragrance – most of these components are ftalat, but others are chemicals that can cause allergic reactions or irritation.
Ironically, even “odorless” products may contain masking smells with chemicals used to cover the smell of other chemicals.

Homemade Deodorant Recipe (with Carbonate) Materials
2 tablespoons edible carbonate
4 tablespoons Ararot powder, Cassava starch or corn starch
5 tablespoons shea oil (Karite Oil)
30-45 drops essential oil-depending on the house-(tea tree oil, fitting, lavender and juniper are good choices.)
Mix natural cream deodorant in a deep bowl of baking powder and ararot powder (or corn starch together).
Using your hands or a fork, add in the karite oil until it looks like a very crumbled dough
If you are using it, add essential oil at this stage.
Beat the deodorant ingredients using hand mixer. (At first it will look too dry and it will recover later) (Use a large container!)
When ready, transfer your homemade deodorant to a clean glass jar.
If it is stored in a cool and dry place, it will have at least one year of life.
How to use natural cream deodorant? Using your fingertips, take a pea -sized deodorant and apply it to your armpits until it is invisible.
Deodorant is quickly absorbed and it is still recommended to wait a few minutes to absorb the deodorant before dressing.
If you want extra dryness protection, apply a layer of ararot powder on the deodorant using a makeup brush.
