What’s in natural fleas and tick powder? Essential oils
Some essential oils are thought to be useful to expel both ticks and fleas, while only one or the other is thought to be useful for the other. In the list below, essential oils that are safe for dogs are listed in order to select the oils suitable for your goals:
Cedar oil – is useful for fleas. Chests made of cedar tree remove the moths for generations. The cedar tree is also often used to expel mosquitoes. It is safe for use with children.
Musk sage oil – is useful for fleas. It is safe for use with children.
Citronella – useful for ticks and fleas. It is safe for use with children.
Sardinia oil – useful for ticks. It can also be used to support skin repair and renewal, elasticity and tightening, and even skin tone. It is safe for use with children.
Lavender – useful for fleas. Condistive helps to calm insect bites, sunburn and other skin irritations. It is safe for use with children.
Lemon – useful for fleas. It can cause sensitivity to the sun on the skin. The recommended maximum topical use is 2 %(12 drops of two tablespoons carrier oil). It is safe for children when used correctly.
Mint – useful for fleas. Mint should be used carefully around 3-6 years of age and can be applied topically at a concentration of 0.5 %(2 drops of 4 teaspoons of carrier oil).
You can use what you want as a mixture or select only 1 – 2 of these oils above. A total of 90 drops of volatile oil in the recipe!
Attention!
Essential oils should not be used in puppy dogs less than 10 weeks!

Preparation of natural fleas and tick powder recipe for dogs is recommended to be outdoors to prepare homemade tick and flea powder.
Mixing all the ingredients in a lid container is sufficient to be ready for the powder.
You can make the application with a wide hole clean spice.
It is recommended that you scan after pouring dust for the application.
You can apply dust to your dog’s back, body, legs, tail and neck parts.
Since the dust may irritate the mucosa, the application is not recommended to the eye and mouth.

Is natural flea and tick powder used for cats?
Cats are not as good as dogs to tolerate essential oils. Therefore, the recipe is not suitable for cats. However, if you exclude all the essential oils in the recipe, you can use the dust for your cat.
