Homemade Lip Creation Recipe: Lip Balm this super easy lip balm recipe; With wax, natural cocoa oil and moisturizing oil you choose, moisturizes and protects your lips. Although it is very soothing for cracked lips, it is light enough to be used during the year, even in summer months.
Homemade Lip Creation (Lip Balm) Recipe Ingredients
2 tablespoons grated cocoa oil
2 tablespoons pure wax
1 tablespoon plus a teaspoon of coconut oil, olive oil, sweet almond oil or jojoba oil (or a mixture of these oils)
Quarter teaspoon Vitamin E – depending on the age – (it will prolong the life of lip cream.)
30 drops of volatile oil – depending on my own – (mint, orange and tangerine will be good preferences)
Attention!
All essential oils are not recommended for lipstick. Some are phototoxic, others may be irritating or cause sensitivity reactions.
For this recipe, you should be careful when choosing an essential oil. Rose, lavender, chamomile, mint, eucalyptus, orange and tangerine are volatile oils that will be suitable for your lip.
The oils that will not fit in lip cream are as follows:
Sensitive Oils
Cinematic oil
Lemon grass oil
Yenibahar oil
Thyme oil
Coconut oil
Sage oil
Clove oil
Phototoxic oils (may cause skin to become more sensitive to UV rays)
Bergamot oil
Grapefruit oil
Lemon oil
Tangerine leaf oil

Melt the cocoa oil and pure honey wax without vaseline lip honey and pure honey candle (in a stainless steel container in a pot full of boiling water) over low medium heat.
Add olive oil, almond oil or jojoba oil to the mixture that completely melted cocoa oil and wax completely and mix well until it is completely melted.
When the mixture is ready, remove from the fire, allow the mixture to cool for 1 – 2 minutes and add volatile oils and vitamin E.
Pour the liquid into the lip cream tubes or boxes and allow to cool completely.
How to hide? You can store your lip cream in a cool place, and in the summer months.
The life of your wax is about 1 year.
