Kheer is a traditional Indian dessert. Rice, milk, sugar and sometimes saffron, cashew, almond or coconut is made with a mixture of materials such as. Kheer recipe Kheer is a popular dessert in Indian cuisine. Here is a simple kheer recipe: Ingredients: 1 liter milk
1/2 cup rice
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon of saffron
1 teaspoon of ground cardamom
1/4 cups of beaten almonds
1/4 glass of pistachios beaten
Preparation: Wash the rice and put 2 cups of water in the pot. Over medium heat, cook for about 20 minutes until the rice softens. Mix occasionally.
Soak the bile with a spoon of hot water and put aside.
Pour the milk into another pot and boil. After boiling, add the rice you cooked to the milk.
Add the sugar and melt by stirring. Cook over low heat for about 30 minutes.
Add the cardamom, the biliary and the almond and mix.
When your Kheer becomes thick, remove from the stove and allow to cool.
After cooling, sprinkle with pistachios on Kheer and serve.
