Bun bread; Bao bread, Baozi or Bao Bur; delicious Chinese buns. In general, BAO is a recipe prepared from wheat -based, fermented dough, filled with breads or buns, salt or sweet fillings.
They are mostly steamed, but fry or bake them in the pan is an option.
These small breads are quite different from western -style breads, fluffy, soft textured and neutral taste.
Basically, the bread is a flattened dough folded in a semicircular form. The inside of the breads is added after the breads are cooked.

300 g of white flour
1 pack of instant yeast
1 teaspoon of baking powder
1 teaspoon of white sugar
165 g warm water or milk
A small amount of fat (for over)
Preparation of
Add flour, instant yeast, baking powder, sugar and water or milk to the mixing bowl.
Mix and knead with the dough kneading apparatus until a smooth dough for 8-10 minutes at low speed.
Extend the dough into a rope and divide it into 10-12 equal parts.
Turn them into collecting and then bring each of them to an oval shape of approximately half cm thick with a rolling pin. Sprinkle flour when necessary to prevent sticking.
Apply a thin layer of oil to half of the oval and then fold longitudinally.
Let the breads rest for about 30 minutes until the breads grow, full of fullness and lighten their weight.
Add 2 cups of water (500ml) to the wok or saucepan you use for steaming. Place the baskets on top. Put a few on top of each other and close the lid to cook them all.
First, cook over high heat. As soon as the water starts to boil, bring the heat to the medium-low level. Steam 10 minutes from this moment on, and then bass them from the stove.

What is Bao bread eaten with? In general, to fill these breads, you can unite some of the following or rely on your own creativity:
Proteins: cooked meat (beef, lamb meat, chicken, duck); cooked fish or seafood; Cooking or ready to eat tofu slices, field eggs or omelets and so on.
Vegetables: lettuce, carrots, cucumbers, onions, bell peppers, hot pepper and so on.
Fermente Food: Salamura mustard grass, kimchi, etc.
Green: Fresh onions, fresh coriander, basil and so on.
Sauce: Pepper oil, salamura pepper garlic sauce, black bean sauce and so on.
Additions: Sesame, fried, nuts, chili peppers and so on.
