Mandarin Delight Recipe
2 cups of freshly squeezed tangerine juice
6 tablespoons corn starch (or wheat starch)
5 tablespoons powdered sugar (you can increase and reduce according to your taste)
Half a cup of freshly squeezed orange juice -depending on it –
1 pack of vanillin or vanilla essence -depending on it-
1 teaspoon of butter -to give brightness to the lokums-
To decorate:
Half coffee cup coconut powder or powdered peanuts -you can only use powdered sugar-
Mandarin Delight Making
Take tangerine juice, orange juice, starch, vanillini and sugar into a large thousand pots.
Start cooking the ingredients over medium heat. Mix the mixture during cooking to avoid lumping.
Continue to cook for 10 minutes. At the end of this period, the mixture will be quite darker and gain consistency.
When your delight mixture thickens, close the stove and continue stirring. At this stage, add the butter.
Then pour the mixture into a large tray or long glasses. And lift it to the refrigerator for rest.
Remove the thoroughly listened and hardening Turkish delight from the refrigerator and sliced. If you rest your Turkish delight on a large tray, you can use cookie molds for this job.
Finally, decorate your homemade delight with coconut powder and peanuts and serve.

How to Make Homemade Mandarin Delight? You can also prepare the same recipe with orange, pomegranate, grapefruit and even other citrus fruits such as lemon. You can also choose these fruits together in your Turkish delight recipes.
